The field of custom orthotic devices involves the clinical appropriateness of external support. This may involve any part of the body or body joint. The goal is to support, assist and / or protect.
Our clinicians work in conjunction with the patient's doctor and/or therapist to design and construct the best device for each patient's unique condition and situation. This may include anything from custom fabricated arch supports to braces for the knee, spine, shoulder or arm.
At American Prosthetics & Orthotics, we custom mold our devices to get the most exact fit. We use the most lightweight, but high-strength materials to fabricate braces that are both functional and comfortable.
We also provide ongoing follow-up for our patient's orthotic device, as conditions may change over time.
